Nicerightnow is the culmination of 30 years of travel, wrapped up into a travel blog. You see I work in the mining industry. As a result, I have worked and lived in 6 different countries. I started out working in the hot remote parts of the Northern Territory, Australia. It was there that I discovered my love for travelling, and exploring the wild and more remote regions of the land down under.

My world opened up when I took a job in East Africa working on a large-scale gold mining operation. I took the opportunity to experience some amazing African Safaris and other adventures. My love for travelling throughout Australia evolved into a love for travelling across the globe!

After a long globetrotting/homeschooling adventure, I am now living back in Australia with my beloved family of 3 – my beautiful Filipina wife Clarice and my wonderful son Clarc. Together we form the Nicerightnow team, for I cannot do the work required to maintain this website without the full support of my amazing family.

My policy is to build treasured family memories through travel. As an 11-year-old Clarc had already visited 30 countries, so he is definitely getting a feel for our amazing planet, and how to move around it.

Nicerightnow is all about promoting family travel adventures and helping other families to make the decision to travel. Also, we would like to offer some helpful tips and showcase some tech which will come in handy along the way.

We’re not into luxury travel, and we’re not shoestring travellers either – we are just your typical family travellers. This amazing global travelling community is so massive and varied, and we are truly humbled to be a part of it.
